Tomorrow I abandon the blogosphere for a week in western Poland, en famille. And then during September I have a string of visitors from Australia, my daughter and two friends from the south coast. So no posts or comments for a while.
In Łazienki parkland recently I indulged a liking for reflections in one of the narrow waterways inhabited by ducks and fish, and in the idleness of a weekend without grandchildren I played around with Snapseed and editing in iPad Photos. Here’s what happened.
Reminds me a bit of 1950’s abstract designs for dress fabric. You know the kind of dresses: full skirts, cut on the bias, a “self” belt with eyelets, plain tops buttoning down the front, with or without short sleeves!

I know exactly the kind of dresses! Not good for chubbies. I even think I had a dress made of fabric like this – pleats across the front of the bodice.

Yes, a murky eye 🙂 Glad I found this. I was starting to worrit. So glad you’re having fun. Too late to send hugs but they’ll be waiting when you get back. 🙂

I needed those hugs to be waiting for me. They countered the discovery that J’s room was covered in soot and rubbley grit that came through the vent from the extensions driving us nuts – there’ll be a post in that too!!! He spent hours vacuuming and mopping. How did we lose each other? I was concerned about you too.

Green is one of my favorite colors … and your playing around didn’t change my mind about the shade. Great to be playful … we aren’t it enough.
